BET’s “Sistas” & “Zatima” Star Devale Ellis is currently enjoying time with his family and fans were patiently waiting to watch him in a new role for the new Netflix film “The Perfect Find”!!
It turns out that Devale scenes in the film were cut but he allegedly still received payment for filming.
In 2021, he shared on Instagram:
“In Harlem to film #ThePerfectFindwith one of the greats @gabunion. I can’t even front, I’m really just having fun and enjoying life at this point.
@producertommy you already know… I told you I wanted to get into films 4 years ago when you and @codiecointerviewed us for @blacklove. 4 years later that conversation made this opportunity possible. I’m forever grateful brother.
Thank You to all of you who continue to support me and my family as we chase this dream in real time. You guys, and your support make all of this possible and also enjoyable.”
Devale took to Twitter to share:
“Hey guys. My role in #ThePerfectFind was filmed during COVID. A hilarious party scene with Gab, but was cut because the masks didn’t match the current times and aesthetic. Thank you all for always supporting me. The film was amazing none the less. Go check it out.

Such a bummer! We really wanted to see him in the film!
The good news is that he recently filming a new Netflix film which will be Christmas themed!
Production already ended on the Netflix romantic-comedy, Meet Me Next Christmas, also starring Christina Milian.
Plot:

Devale has a bigger role in the film so we don’t have to worry about the streamer taking his scenes out!
